MasterVoices presents the NYC premiere of "27" by composer Ricky Ian Gordon and librettist Royce Vavrek at NY City Center for two performances, October 20 and 21. Recreating her starring role from the St. Louis Opera production, Metropolitan Opera star Stephanie Blythe plays Gertrude Stein. Heidi Stober plays Alice B. Toklas. James Robinson directs and Ted Sperling conducts MasterVoices and Orchestra of St. Luke's.
